Earlier this month I had to distinct pleasure to work wth Tannah again. This time it was more along the lines of location based instead of studio work.
We started early by heading out to Salt Flat, Texas. Just on the other side of the Guadalupe Mountains if your coming from Carlsbad, NM. Oddly enough we arrived and their was a film crew there from Dallas filming and Indie movie.
We waited till they left so as not to disturb their shoot. We walked out into the Salt Flat. 1st step in....it was a muddy mess. I forgot it had rained out there and the mud got every where. So we stuck to the dry parts as much as we could.
From there we headed over to Dell City, Texas to shoot on the back roads and use the sweeping landscape with the mountains in the background. It was a bit hazy and overcast, but thankfully the sun decided to finally come out. Which helped with the overall images.
After that we used the Salt Flat Cafe, side note: the owner is a great lady to chat with as well. The Indie movie crew was also there filming. After there headed to the Cornudas Cafe for lunch and to finish up our session. The images that follow are some from that session.
