Chelsea's Boudoir session!
Hello and Welcome!
I recently go to work with one of my favorite clients again. This time she wanted something different from the norm of high fashion life and what everyone else says you need photos of.
So, we picked a day to do her session. Turned out to be a great day to work inside due to the weather getting bad. Funny thing, it was snowing on my way over and we were hoping to get some snow shots…. didn’t. The snow turned to rain for the rest of the day.
We opted for a sultry and casual boudoir session for part of this, the other parts were more casual and I will bring those to you in a other post.
We settled on outfits and went from there.
The session started with some really good vanilla flavored coffee….thank’s Chelsea for that. From there we started with the 1st outfit and proceeded to have fun with what ideas we came up with and spun them into what you see here.
Chelsea is so easy to work with, because she is happy with who she is. A working mom who knows we all strive for perfection but realizes that we can’t reach perfection. But we take the excellence we achieve when reaching for the perfection. It may come in small bits here and there, but we will take it.
The next location we used is a place we all spend a lot of time in, even if it’s just to relax and get away for the kids for a bit! Calgon anyone??
So, we all wear cowboy boots in the bathroom right? She does and makes it look good. Your house, your rules and no one to tell you other wise. Wear what makes you happy and you will always be comfortable.
The last set called for something we all know and love as a article of clothing. IT feels good, never goes out of style and we LOVE to wrap up in it when it’s cold. It really makes you feel safe and brings back memories of your youth!
So needless to say we had a great time working on these images and the final results came out well beyond expected.
The take away for this blog post is easy. For the daring woman out there, working professional or the stay at home mom. You don’t need to be gym, contest or bikini shape to have beautiful images captured of you living life and being happy with how you are and look. Be proud of who you are and display your inner beauty along with your outer beauty.
Blake Lively said this:
"The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence."
Believe it and believe in yourself.
Ok, one more bonus image because who can resist sparkly cowboy boots!
Until next time…..
